Together with the WiWi student council and the faculty we organize your graduation day. This festive event will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025. All graduates of the year 2025 are kindly invited!

Registration for the Day for Graduates is going to be released two months before. 

We regularly organize game nights and are always open to new players or games. So feel free to drop by or talk to us. For the sake of simplicity, we usually announce the dates via the internal channels and do not explicitly share them on our website.

Current and outstanding publications, topics that interest you, that you are currently working on or that you would like to discuss. The paper club offers a stage for these topics. The focus is to think outside the box and at the same time to train how to deal with scientific literature. Whether with a free speech, structured presentation or as an active listener, everyone is welcome here and we look forward to seeing you. This event will take place regularly via Zoom. The next appointment will be the 24th March 2022.

Bielefeld is located in the middle of the Teutoburg Forest, so a hike is always a good idea. No matter what time of year, we think of a nice route and set off together. Here, too, the focus is on having fun. Short-term changes due to changed weather conditions can occur.

There are many ways to explore the city in Bielefeld. Whether on foot or by bike, there is a lot to see. With regard to bicycles, we can use the free rental bike for students. It's not just about getting to know your fellow students better, but also about the city and its sights. We are always happy to include your suggestions when planning.

A visit to the Christmas market in Bielefeld is a must in December. With over 120 different stands, there is something for everyone and it has become a small student council tradition. Our meeting point is the Haus vom Nikolaus at the Leineweberbrunnen in the old town. We will announce the exact location and time in advance via the internal channels.

Summer Semester

Beach Volleyball

Beach volleyball can be played on two beach volleyball courts (sand) at Bielefeld University in the summer semester. You don't need any gaming experience at this event, the focus is on having fun. We organize the field and would be happy if you drop by! Weather permitting, you may find us at the Mensa beach area on Friday evenings.

The student council barbecue traditionally takes place between the teeth (main university building), i.e. in front of the main building. More detailed information will follow in the invitation to the event.
